Connected by Kim Karr

In anticipation for the Torn Blog Tour, I thought it would be best if i read Connected.

After all how could i fairly review Torn (Connections #2), if i haven't read Connected (Connections #1)..  so read it i did!

Synopsis

What if a ‘Once in a Lifetime’ could happen twice?

Suffering from a past full of tragedy, Dahlia London's soul has been left completely shattered. Happily ever after is a far cry from reality in her world. But, when she is reconnected with her past, the bonds that form are irrefutable.

When River Wilde, lead singer of The Wilde Ones, comes back into Dahlia’s life, the intensity that fires their relationship combined with underlying feelings that have never died lead her to believe she has met her soulmate.

Struggling with confusion as old connections fade and new ones begin, Dahlia's grief begins to lift--but guilt remains. River wants to be the one to mend all that is torn within her.

But with a past that is never really gone, can their future survive?

Review

I don’t know where to start.

I read Connected immediately before I read the ARC of Torn.  I am just dumbstruck by how much I LOVED this book.

Connected introduces us to Dahlia, Ben and River, amongst other very engaging characters like Xander and Bell.

The story follows the relationship of Ben and Dahlia, and their life long love for each other.  Then one night Dahlia meets River, and boy is the chemistry hot!

What I loved about this story though, is that it was not your typical love triangle.

Years pass before River and Dahlia cross paths again, and by the time this happens life has significantly changed for Dahlia.  It is safe to say however, that their chemistry has not!

River is the lead singer of the Wilde Ones, he is gorgeous, and he has the heart of an angel, and cherishes everything there is to cherish when it comes to Dahlia.

This story is the perfect love story, and shows the power of helping another heal, and the rewards that come from doing this selflessly.

This story was not without trials and tribulations for River and Dahlia of course, but what a hot, sexy journey which makes your heart smile!

Connected rates an easy 4 and 1/2 hearts!

Then I hit Torn…

Stay tuned for when the Torn Blog Tour stops by
Kota's Book Kollection on
