Talan Cox is a popular man, as a tatted ‘bad boy’ he generally has easy pussy being thrown at him. He is 34 and a business man in his own right, he likes to play, but when Maya walks into his shop he is hit with the caveman stick!
Maya is a 20 year old student who came in to support her friend while she gets some work done. Maya has goals and ambition, and although small in stature is no one door mat.
Overt Flirtation ensues as Talan and Maya work out what they want from each other.
Marking her is a 90 page serial. It is a quick read that lays the foundations for a potentially very good series. There is a depth to the characters that has been touched on and once explored further would likely make them very appealing. So far, too much is unknown to understand the personalities and behaviours to a great extent.
Throw in some drama, some sexual tension, and the beginnings of some great secondary characters, and this read is pleasant. If you are looking for a quick book full of hot sex, you wont find that here.. this one is full of the slow build, that I am sure will combust in the future.
This book gives you enough to be curious to see what becomes of Maya and Talan.
