Iva's Review
Amy is a 38 year old house wife who has been married for 18 years to a work-a-holic husband and virtually left to raise their two children single handedly. Intimacy with her husband Bryan is a thing of the past, with both of them often too tired or too consumed by outside pressures to really focus on their relationship. Amy finds herself drawn to an online chat connection named Cool-Hand-Luke. Luke gives Amy the attention and desirability she has been craving for years but guilt and a lingering love for her husband has her keeping him at arms length. Amy's resistance begins to slip when she suspects Bryan is having an affair and Cool-Hand-Luke becomes more passionate in his pursuit of meeting her.
Anne Conley's Falling For Him is a unique story of heartbreak and hope. That she has managed to write such a heart gripping story in only a few short pages speaks of the quality of writing she has produced.
Amy's loneliness and despair at her floundering marriage is evident from the word go, you know she still loves Bryan but has had her self esteem and hope pushed so far down she feels her marriage is over. The discovery of her husbands affair brings some much needed back bone to her character which in turn makes her very real and easy to relate to.
Bryan has been very well written. You hate him, but love him at the same time. Exactly the way the author intended. His vulnerability when he realises his marriage is in shambles pulls your heart strings, but also makes you want to stick your foot up his backside!
Cool- Hand-Luke is also well received with his ability via hot messages to appreciate a womans emotional needs as well as her physical ones. Some of his promises will have your e-book screen fogging up.
The twist in the story is made obvious purposely, which allows you to really enjoy the story and characters, no matter what man you pinned your hopes on. Is it a book for everyone? No, but it will definitely hit a home run to women in their 30's and 40's who have kids, no matter how good or poor their marriage may be.

Author Bio
I raise goats. I raise children. I write. I don't do any of it well, but I try to have fun with all of it. And I read. I'm not too terribly technologically savvy, but I'm working on that. My life is a continual work in progress. And when it gets to be too much for me (quite frequently, I'm a little embarrassed to say) I read some more.
